Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on July 16. In a joint statement on Thursday, July 18, the couple expressed their joy.
Richa had announced her pregnancy in February.

Earlier, on July 14, Richa had shared on Instagram about awaiting their little one’s arrival.
She expressed that while discomfort can feel isolating, she never feels truly alone. She also mentioned sensing that someone is always listening.

Richa and Ali married under the Special Marriage Act in 2020 and celebrated their union in 2022.
On the professional front, Richa was recently seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Baazar’, where she portrayed the character of Lajjo. The epic drama is now streaming on Netflix.
Ali Fazal’s latest role was in ‘Mirzapur 3’, reprising his character Guddu Pandit, which premiered on Prime Video on July 5.
