Calm Down fame Rema to perform in India
In order to invite Nigerian artists in India, the local music festival I Love Live Entertainment has partnered with the international event Afrodesh. In May 2023, three Indian cities will host the music festival.
In March 2019, Rema, an artist noted for his afro rave music (a subgenre of afrobeat, a term used to define music from West Africa), released his self-titled album EP. With singles like Corny, Dumebi, and Iron Man—all of which were included on former US president Barack Obama’s summer playlist—the singer gained recognition for his distinctively calm kind of music on a global scale.
