Raveena Tandon, a veteran actress with a significant fan base, has become embroiled in a serious controversy. She has been accused of attacking three people in Mumbai’s Bandra area late on Saturday night.

A video that has been circulating online depicts Raveena Tandon involved in a heated confrontation. She was accused of reckless driving and hitting three individuals near Carter Road, in the vicinity of Rizvi College. The actress, dressed in white, was surrounded by the alleged victims and a group of locals. The situation grew more tense as the crowd became increasingly hostile, with some individuals attacking her and calling the police. One of the victims was heard saying, “My nose is bleeding. She assaulted me.”

In the video, Raveena can be observed attempting to defend herself, pleading with onlookers to stop recording and avoid violence. She was heard saying, “Don’t push. Please don’t hit me,” while the agitated crowd shouted, “Maaro isko (Hit her).”

Mohammed, a resident of Bandra, provided a detailed account of the incident. He alleged that his mother, sister, and niece were passing by Raveena’s residence when her driver ran over his mother. Mohammed claimed that when they confronted the driver, he responded aggressively and assaulted both his niece and mother.

Mohammed further alleged that Raveena, appearing to be intoxicated, got out of the car to defend her driver and inadvertently struck his mother, causing serious head injuries. He stated that despite waiting for four hours at Khar Police Station, the police refused to file an FIR against the actress. “They asked us to settle the matter outside the police station. But why should we settle scores with them? My mother has been assaulted and I demand justice,” he declared. Raveena has not yet publicly responded to these accusations.

On the professional front, Raveena Tandon is scheduled to appear in Ahmed Khan’s ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, a comedy-caper that features a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, Aftab Shivdasani, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and others. This film marks the third installment in the popular ‘Welcome’ franchise and is expected to release on Christmas 2024.
