Rats Damage Kartik Aaryan’s Rs 4.72 Crore McLaren GT, Actor Reveals

Kartik Aaryan stars in 'Chandu Champion,' portraying Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, with the film releasing on June 14. Known for 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,' Kartik is celebrated as a top actor of his generation.

Kartik Aaryan is currently in the spotlight with his upcoming movie, Chandu Champion, set to release next week. Known for his rise to fame with the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series, he is now regarded as one of the top actors of his generation.

Not many people know that after the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in 2022, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar surprised Kartik Aaryan with an extravagant gift: a McLaren GT worth Rs 4.72 crore. The film’s success was remarkable, especially given the tough box office climate of 2022, making the gift even more special. However, Kartik’s enjoyment of the luxury car was short-lived.

In an interview with The Lallantop, Kartik revealed he couldn’t drive his McLaren because rats had chewed on the car’s mat while it was parked in the garage. He shared, ‘I drive my other car. I have hardly driven the McLaren. It was in the garage for a long time, so rats chewed the mat, which cost me a lot. I had to pay lakhs of rupees to fix it.’

Kartik Aaryan’s career is on an impressive upward path, with him taking on various franchise roles one after another. After his success in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa,’ there were rumors that he might replace Salman Khan as the beloved Prem in Sooraj Barjatya’s next film. However, ETimes has learned that Kartik is actually working with the Barjatyas on a completely new project.

A source close to the actor shared exclusively with ETimes, ‘Kartik Aaryan had a meeting with the Barjatyas, but due to his busy schedule, he will revisit the subject afterward.’

Salman Khan’s unavailability has sparked rumors. ‘Salman Khan informed the Barjatyas that, due to security concerns, he prefers to focus on one film at a time. This has led to speculation about Kartik Aaryan replacing him as Prem,’ the source shared. However, it’s still unclear if Kartik is being considered for the same project.
