Rashmika Mandanna is busy shooting for her upcoming film Thama, the film is expected to be horror-comedy alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is expected to release by the ending of this year and the cast is in the middle of an hectic film shooting. Rashmika is always known for been keeping her fans entertained by sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the sets.

Night Shoots And Ice Buckets

Rashmika took to her Instagram stories and shared a fun picture from a night shoot. The photo showed director Aditya A. Sarpotdar sitting on a plastic chair, closely monitoring the shoot on a screen. Rashmika wrote on the picture: “My director…. Making me shoot night shoot every time…. Ice bucket …. Story of my life."

The director reshared her her story with a playful caption: “Where mortals fear the night, the vampires find their power.” Rashmika responded by saying: “Wise words. Knows exactly how to make a Thama (vampire) happy!”

Ayushmann Khurrana Cheers For India During Shoot

Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana who is expected to be her co-star in Thama, also shared his own BTS moments from the set. During the ICC Champion Trophy final match between India and New Zealand, Ayushmann shared a video showing him and the crew watching the nail-biting final moments. As India sealed the victory, the entire team cheered loudly. He captioned the video: “Shoot ruk jaati hai jab India jeet jaata hai!” (The shoot pauses when India wins!)

The Excitement Around Thama

The shoot for Thama began around December last year. Ayushmann had shared a special note from the makers that read: “Dear Ayushmann, It’s fang-tastic to have you on board Maddock’s horror comedy universe. Who better than ‘Ayushmann’ to play the un-dead THAMA? We believe this is a role you will love to sink your teeth into!"

Fans are really excited to see both Ayushmann and Rashmika together on the silver screens.
