Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda reportedly got engaged at a private ceremony. The couple have not announced this reported news yet. The actors have worked together in two projects and have been rumoured to be dating for quite some time.
According to a report by M9 News, Rashmika and Vijay got engaged in the presence of their family members, but wanted to maintain their privacy. They are also reported to tie the knot in February 2026.
They have been private about their relationship but neither confirmed nor denied it. The actors first shared the screen in the 2018 film ‘Geetha Govindam’, which became a huge hit. The audience loved their on-screen chemistry. Rashmika and Vijay then starred together in the 2019 ‘Dear Comrade’.
In August 2025, Rashmika remembered the seven years of ‘Geetha Govindam’. She wrote, “I can’t believe I still have all these pictures from 7 years ago.. Geetha govindam will always ALWAYS be the most special film. I was just remembering everyone who was involved in this film making and it’s been faaaaar too long since we’ve all met.. but I hope they are doing super well.. I can’t believe it’s been 7 years already but happy 7 Geetha Govindam.”
On the work front, Vijay was last seen in the action thriller ‘Kingdom’. Meanwhile, Rashmika has a bunch of films lined up, and she is gearing up for the release of her horror-comedy ‘Thamma’ with Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal. She will also star in ‘The Girlfriend’ and ‘Cocktail 2’ with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
