Ranveer Singh is all set to unleash his action packed avatar in Dhurandhar. Sources confirm that the Jio Studios production is in its final leg, with a full wrap-up expected by October 15, 2025. Ranveer is scheduled to complete his portions in the first week of October, while the rest of the cast will finish their shoot over the following 10 days.
Pinkvilla reported that a source close to the production said, “The last leg of Dhurandhar shoot is going on in full swing, and Ranveer Singh wraps up his portions in the first week of October. The remaining star-cast of the film will shoot for another 10-days, and call it a film wrap by October 15.”
The team is also planning to kick off the film’s marketing campaign around Diwali, aiming for a December 5, 2025 release. The source told Pinkvilla, “The edit work for Dhurandhar is going on in full swing, side-by-side the shoot. Around 65 percent of the edit is locked on the table, and the first copy of the film outside of some technical touch-ups is expected to be ready by the end of October. The post-production teams are racing to the finish line to bring Dhurandhar on December 5.”

While finishing Dhurandhar, Ranveer is also preparing for Don 3, with action rehearsals and script sessions scheduled from late October. The source further informed, “Ranveer begins his prep work for Don 3 from the end of October, with the intent of starting shoot from the month of January. He will be having script reading sessions with Farhan, and also work with the action team. Big action sequences are being planned with Ranveer.”
About Dhurandhar
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will feature Ranveer along with Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal. Official information about the story of the film has not been revealed yet, but it is being said that it may be inspired by the life of India’s spy and former National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The teaser, however, confirms that it is based on true events.
The film is slated for release on December 5, setting the stage for a box office clash with Prabhas’ The RajaSaab.
