Ranveer Allahabadia, a well-known YouTuber and influencer has landed himself in massive trouble following a controversial statement on India’s Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina. During an interaction with a contestant, Ranveer asked a provocative question that quickly sparked outrage across all media platforms. His remarks were widely condemned, leading to calls for action against him and the show.
Following the backlash, multiple FIRs have been registered against Ranveer. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has also stepped in, urging a complete ban on India’s Got Latent. The organization labeled Ranveer’s comments as unacceptable and demanded stringent action.

Adding to Ranveer’s trouble, renowned singer B Praak publicly slammed him on Instagram.The singer announced that his music group, TOP had decided to cancel their scheduled appearance on Ranveer’s podcast.

In the latest episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’, YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani were the guests alongside Apoorva Makhija. The backlash was caused due to Ranveer’s question for one contestant as he said, “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?”

After the backlash, a complaint was filed on Monday against Ranveer, Apoorva and Samay and the organisers of India’s Got Latent. The complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission for allegedly using abusive language on the show and strict action has been demanded against the accused in the letter.
After the backlash, Ranveer also apologised and said, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I’m just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform and obviously this is not how I wish to use it. I’m not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened.”
