In a recent interview with India Today, Tripti Dimri opened up about filming the much-discussed intimate scene with Ranbir, expressing, “Sandeep explained the scene aesthetically, aiming for a ‘Beauty and the Beast’ vibe. He left the comfort decision to me, showing references that made it feel significant between the characters. That helped me find comfort.”

She also addressed the controversy surrounding Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘lick my shoe’ dialogue in “Animal,” in an interview with The Indian Express and said, “It reminded me of what my acting coach once said: Never judge your character. Characters, like humans, have their good and bad sides.”

On the work front, Tripti’s journey in the industry began with a comedic turn in “Poster Boys” (2017) before landing her first lead role in the romantic drama “Laila Majnu” (2018). However, it was her commendable performances in Anvita Dutt’s “Bulbbul” (2020) and “Qala” (2022) that garnered acclaim before her notable supporting role in the blockbuster action film “Animal” (2023), starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Notably, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal” also boasts talents like Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Among her upcoming projects is a film with Vicky Kaushal.
