Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra will bring the epic saga of Ramayana to the big screen. They have unveiled the first glimpse of ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ and and it’s already sending ripples across the internet. Ranbir Kapoor will star as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita.
The teaser has enthralled the audience with its stunning visual effects, cinematography and emotional music. However, as expected, comparisons with Adipurush the 2023 mythological adaptation by Om Raut starring Prabhas started pouring in.

The film also boasts a star studded ensemble, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari. Their looks are still under wraps.
Ramayana will be released in two parts, the first on Diwali 2026 and the second in Diwali 2027.
