New Delhi: Holi celebrations became more memorable for Indian Idol 13 finalists when Ranbir Kapoor appeared as a special guest. The actor, who was there to promote his forthcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, had a terrific time celebrating the festival of colours with the contestants.
Ranbir Kapoor recalls drinking bhaang with Deepika Padukone
The upcoming show will have Rishi Singh of Ayodhya performing with Sayisha on the classic Holi song Balam Pichkari from the film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Ranbir Kapoor and the other candidates danced along with Rishi and Sayisha during the performance, impressed by the spirit of the performance.
Following the performance, Ranbir reflected on his time on the set of Balam Pichkari alongside Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin. He said, “I think we shot the song for 8 days. It was too sunny, with too many dancers, and it was very difficult, but when you get a good song, you get the energy from within, and you feel like performing it. In those 8 days of shooting – Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kalki, Deepika and I had a blast. We would drink Bhaang, hiding from everyone so that no one gets to know.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has stated that he will not be portraying a casanova in the film. He said, “My character in the film is not a Casanova. I help people who have problems in their love lives. I come up with solutions for their problems, I am a break-up artist. So, yeh kuch biopic nahi hai. It is not based on my life.”
