Rana Naidu Trailer Out

The Rana Naidu trailer was released by OTT juggernaut Netflix. Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, who play Naga and Rana Naidu, respectively, the powerhouse actors and celebrities of the Telugu film industry, are featured in the series. They play a father and son in the film, but rather than working together, they square off and promise an epic battle.

The talks between Seeti and Maar are another aspect of this series that draws our attention. At least based on the trailer, these are insane and brilliantly executed. The series, which is being directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn S Varma, will be available on Netflix. Here is the trailer:

Rana and Venkatesh talk about the film

In the film, Rana portrays the character with the same name who’s a celebrity fixer. Talking to Deadline, he said, “Playing the role of Rana Naidu was exceptionally challenging. He’s a complex character with a deep emotional connection to his family but also struggles with his relationship with his father. Amidst all this drama is Rana’s professional journey and what it requires of him.”

Talking about the project, Venkatesh told the same publication, “Portraying the character of Naga is an entirely new experience for me…with his playful demeanor that stands in stark contrast to Rana’s more intense personality. This character is witty, charismatic and layered.”

About Rana Naidu

In September of last year, Rana Naidu’s teaser was released. On September 24, Netflix India’s official page posted a teaser for Rana Naidu. “It’s time for the ultimate Daggubati VS. Daggubati! But this is not your everyday family drama. Watch this uncle-nephew duo go head-to-head in #RanaNaidu, ARRIVING SOON! #Tudum (sic),” read the caption.
