New Delhi: On October 25, Ram Setu, starring Akshay Kumar, finally debuted in theaters after a protracted wait. The movie opened to a respectable sum of about Rs 15 crore, as was to be expected. The film, which was also released on October 25, fought hard against Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God. The Akshay Kumar-starring film’s success in theatres was primarily attributed to the Diwali spirit. We’ll have to wait and see how the film does moving forward.
Box Office Collection
Akshay Kumar finally appears to have recovered his Midas touch today after a string of failures. The viewers of his movie Ram Setu have enjoyed it in large cities. According to Box Office India, the film made almost Rs 15 crore net on its first day of release. It brought in more than Rs 1 crore from Rajasthan, and CP Berar contributed an additional Rs 1 crore nett to the total. The Akshay Kumar-starring film did very well in the Gujarat/Saurashtra, Bihar, and UP markets.
Ram Setu has succeeded in making more money than Thank God. Interestingly, the film also won the year’s second-largest opening, behind Brahmastra. With these figures, the movie appears to have great potential.

The director of the film is Abhishek Sharma. Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharucha are shown with Akshay. The action-adventure drama Ram Setu centres on an archaeologist who is determining if Ram Setu is a myth or a real place.
The epic Ramayana claims that Ram Setu is a bridge that the deity Rama’s army of Vanara constructed to cross across to Lanka and rescue his wife Sita, who had been kidnapped by Lanka’s Rakshasa king Ravana.
