New Delhi: Sania Mirza paid her final goodbyes to tennis on March 6 at the Lal Bahadur Stadium or the Fateh Maidan. Ram Charan, the Man of the Masses, uploaded a throwback photo with the tennis legend alongside his wife Upasana Konidela and written an emotional letter on her retirement from the game.

Ram Charan, who is relishing in the glory of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, took to Twitter to post this image with Sania Mirza and Upasana Konidela.

Sharing the picture he tweeted, “My dearest buddy @MirzaSania… Tennis courts across the world will miss seeing you in action. Your contribution to sports in India is unmatched. You continue to make us proud.”

Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna faced Bethanie and cricketer Yuvraj Singh in their last match. Her kid, parents, and ex-partners Cara Black, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Marion Bartli, and Ivan Dodig attended the celebration.

While in the US, the RRR star posted a selfie with the audience from the most recent RRR showing at The Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. The actor, who is occupied with RRR promotional interviews ahead of the Academy Awards in 2023, published a selfie on Twitter after the screening and said that the reception had been exceedingly positive.
