Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently shared his thoughts on Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s 2014 divorce in an interview with Yuvaa. Despite their separation, Rakesh emphasized that Sussanne continues to be a valued member of their family.
Why Hrithik -Sussanne Parted Ways!
Rakesh revealed that he considers Sussanne a part of his family, stating, “Whatever happened was between the couple. For me, Sussanne is still Sussanne. They were in love, they had a misunderstanding- that is for them to resolve.” He reassured that Sussanne’s bond with their family remains intact despite the divorce.

On the topic of his relationship with Hrithik, Rakesh mentioned that while his son and daughter were a bit hesitant to share openly with him in their younger years, their bond has grown stronger. “Now, we are like friends at home,” he shared.
Hrithik & Sussanne: From Marriage To Friendship
Hrithik and Sussanne tied the knot in 2000 after four years of dating. Although their marriage ended in 2014, the two share two sons and have maintained a close friendship. Both have since moved on—Sussanne with Arslan Goni and Hrithik with Saba Azad. The ex-couple continues to be seen together, spending quality time with their children and even vacationing as a family.
