Actor Rajpal Yadav was among four celebrities to receive death threats allegedly from Pakistan. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered in Amboli Police Station and the investigation is underway. Amid this, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor has come to share his first comment in the matter.
While talking to Times Now, Rajpal revealed that he has informed the police as well as the cybercrime cell about it. He added, “It’s not my job to talk about this incident when I don’t know much about it. I am an actor, and through my work, I try to entertain people of all ages, young and old. I don’t want to say anything further on this. Whatever needs to be said about this matter, the authorities are fully capable of providing the information. I have shared all the details I was aware of.”

The email in question was from a man named ‘Vishnu’ and was directed to actor Rajpal Yadav on December 14 last year. The mail threatened to harm the actor the official said. The content of the mail read, “We have been monitoring your recent activities, and we believe it is imperative that we bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you. So treat this message with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality”. In the mail, the sender also threatened to kill Kapil Sharma and his team as his show is being sponsored by Salman Khan.
After preliminary inquiry, police found that the mail was sent from the ID ‘don99284@gmail.com’, which was traced back to Pakistan. Besides Rajpal, choreographer Remo D’Souza and singer and stand-up comedian Sugandha Mishra have approached the Oshiwara police station with similar complaints.
