Popular comedian Rajpal Yadav has infinite reverence for Johnny Walker. “Koi hisaab nahin hai. Rajpal feels Johnny Walker’s influence on comedy in cinema is immeasurable. “If you are serious about comedy, you can’t escape his influence. Johnny Walker sahab is such an actor who has inspired Hindi cinema and character artists to believe if you do your work in an original way, in a realistic way, then you can portray any personality, no matter who you are playing is, but that personality comes out on screen.”
Rajpal intends to honour Walker’s memory. “In honor of Johnny Walker sahab, we have already spoken to his son Nasir Khan about our plans. Johnny Walker Saab has performed in almost 60-70 evergreen songs and I will try to make a show of one-two hours of his songs as soon as possible. It will be a proper musical dedication it to unsung comic legends. We will start with Johnny Baker sahab. Johnny Walker sahab was a true actor, creating an illusion of reality on screen. I salute him. Johnny Bhai, you have always been there and will always remain in our hearts and however much I speak about you, it is like showing a lamp to the sun. I love, I respect, I am inspired by Johnny Walker sahab.”
