Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’: OTT Release Date, Cast, Plot, Songs – What To Expect From The Flick

Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's Bhool Chuk Maaf will now stream on OTT instead of releasing in theatres on May 9.

Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Prediction Day 1

In a last minute shift, Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s Bhool Chuk Maaf is skipping theaters and heading straight to OTT. The film will now premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 16, 2025, instead of releasing on theaters which was scheduled for May 9. The decision comes amid the nationwide security drills and the rising tensions between India and Pakistan.

The announcement read, “In light of the recent events and the heightened security drills across the nation, we at Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to bring our family entertainer, Bhool Chuk Maaf, directly to your homes on May 16 — only on Prime Video, worldwide.”

Plot

Set in the vibrant lanes of Varanasi, the film follows Ranjan, a hopeless romantic who lands a government job just to marry his love, Titli Mishra. But as the wedding prep begins, Ranjan finds himself caught in a time loop that resets every day to their Haldi ceremony.

Cast

Rajkummar Rao as Ranjan and Wamiqa Gabbi as Titli Mishra are in the lead roles, where as, Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, and Jay Thakkar are also playing key roles in the film.

Songs

The film has hit songs like 'Koi Naa', 'Chor Bazari Phir Se', and 'Sawariya Tera' and 'Ting Ling Sajna' featuring Dhanashree Verma. 

More About Bhool Chuk Maaf

Directed by Karan Sharma, and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios, it marks Rao’s sixth collaboration with the production house, after hits like Stree and Roohi and it also marks Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's first on screen collaboration.
