Bollywood’s beloved couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are all set to welcome their first child. The duo took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the happy news in a soft pastel toned announcement card featuring a floral wreath, cradle, and the words, “Baby on the way – Patralekhaa & Rajkummar.”
Rajkummar captioned the post simply, “Elated”.
Rajkummar and Patralekhaa’s relationship is often seen as one of the most genuine love stories in Bollywood. Rajkummar has often said he knew she was the one from the moment he saw her in an ad They worked together in the 2014 film CityLights, which brought them closer. In 2021, Rajkummar proposed to her and they got married on November 15 in Chandigarh.
Meanwhile on the work front, Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the release of Maalik on July 11. Directed by Pulkit, the political crime thriller is set in Allahabad and sees Rajkummar in one of his most intense avatar. The film also stars Manushi Chhillar in a pivotal role.
Patralekhaa was last seen in Phule, a film based on the life and work of social reformers Jyotirao and Savitribai Phule.
