New Delhi: On February 18, Maha Shivratri was observed. It is the most important of the twelve Shivratris observed each year. Shivratri occurs on the 14th day of the month, one day before the new moon. Every year, Hindus celebrate Maha Shivratri, also known as Padmarajarathri or “The Great Night of Shiva,” as a celebration to worship Lord Shiva. Rajinikanth and his wife attended the Maha Shivratri Festival of the Art of Living Association in Bengaluru on the special day.

Rajinikanth attended the Maha Shivratri Festival in Bengaluru, which was organised by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Living Art Society. Latha, his wife, accompanied him. Pictures of the husband and wife team meditating at the centre have gone viral on the internet. Rajinikanth wore a plain white kurta while Latha wore a pink outfit.

Aishwarya, Rajinikanth’s daughter, also travelled to Bengaluru for the Maha Shivratri celebrations. She posted a photo from the stunning site to her Instagram stories.
Rajinikanth’s next film will be Jailer, an action comedy directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film’s production has been moving quickly. In addition to Rajinikanth, the film stars Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, and Malayalam actor Vinayakan. The film will have cameo appearances by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar. Sun Pictures will produce the film, which will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander. Jailer will be released in theatres later this year. Rajinikanth was most recently seen in Siruthai Siva’s Annaatthe.
