Raj Kundra got involved in a controversy for his alleged involvement in producing pornographic content. He recently addressed these allegations and said that someone was trying to pull him into a ‘bigger game’. Earlier, the reports of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raiding his house in connection to a money-laundering case also surfaced on the internet.
Breaking his silence about the case, he said, “I had an issue with someone—a business rival—and I didn’t think they would have the courage to involve me in such things. But when I was in police custody, late at night, people would come and say that it was someone from the inside who was behind this. That’s when I started understanding the message coming through loud and clear—this was a vendetta, a personal grudge. Someone was trying to pull me into a bigger game. Slowly, things started coming to light, and I received a lot of information.”
He added, “After that, I wrote to the authorities, naming those I believed were involved in this entire system. There’s a lot to uncover here, and as more truths are revealed, it will become evident that this isn’t just about vendetta.”
Raj Kundra further said that he will rebuild himself despite this massive controversy. He concluded, “I will be rebuilding myself from the rubble. I will not let anyone tear it down without a fight. I owe it to myself, to my family, and to everyone who has believed in me to stand tall and see this through to the end.”
The businessman earlier expressed his anger towards media for dragging his wife Shilpa Shetty’s name into this issue. He wrote on Instagram, “To whom it may concern, While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let’s set the record straight: I’m fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. As for the claims of ‘associates’, ‘pornography’ and ‘money laundering’, let’s just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth, in the end, justice will prevail!”
