It entered the top ten in 91 countries, and was number one in 76 of them.
Queen Charlotte becomes no.1 with 148 million hours viewed in four days
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Queen Charlotte had the fourth best opening week for any Netflix series this year, trailing only the second season of Ginny & Georgia (180.47 million hours), The Night Agent (168.17 million), and Outer Banks (154.97 million hours). The prequel series has fewer episodes than the other three shows, all of which have ten-episode seasons. Furthermore, at six hours and 49 minutes, it is shorter than the others, which are at least eight hours long.
The sitcom, written and created by Shonda, stars rookies India Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest and revolves around the romance between King George III and Queen Charlotte following their marriage.
