While Pushpa 2: The Rule has achieved historic success as the highest-grossing film in Indian cinema, it has faced criticism from Telangana’s cinematography minister, Komatireddy. After watching the film, he expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that he felt he wasted three and a half hours of his time. “I could have traveled to ten places for work during those three and a half hours,” he remarked, emphasizing that he would only watch Telugu films that reflect mythological, historical, or cultural themes.
