Pushpa 2 Stampede Controversy: Allu Arjun’s Kids Leave Home Following Vandalism

Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun's house was vandalized on Sunday. Protesters are demanding ₹1 crore for the victim's family.

The house of popular South Indian actor Allu Arjun was vandalized on Sunday by protestors following a tragic stampede incident at a screening of Pushpa 2, which resulted in the loss of a woman’s life. In the wake of this distressing event, a video showing the actor’s children, Allu Arha and Allu Ayaan, leaving their home has gone viral.

According to reports, the individuals participating in the protest have been identified as members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC). Following the attack, Allu Arjun’s children were escorted to their grandfather’s home. Although Allu Arjun has not yet commented on the protest outside his house, his father, Allu Aravind, a film producer, addressed the media on Sunday night regarding the situation. He strongly condemned the attack on their home and stated that such incidents should not be supported or tolerated.

According to the reports by News18, While speaking to the press at the home Allu Aravind mentioned, “Everyone has seen what happened at our house today. But it is time for us to act accordingly. Now is not the right time for us to react to anything. He further said that the police have arrested the vandalisers and have filed a case against them. The police are ready to take away anyone else who comes here to create a ruckus. No one should encourage incidents like these. But I will not react just because the media is here. Now is the time to practice restraint. The law will take its own course.”

About the incident

The DCP of the West Zone reported that some individuals scaled the wall, assaulted security personnel, and damaged flower pots at Allu Arjun’s residence. He shared with News18, “Today at around 4:45 pm, some persons holding placards in their hands suddenly rushed to the residence of actor Allu Arjun in Jubilee Hills and started sloganeering and one of them mounted the compound and started throwing tomatoes.”

He continued, “When the security staff objected and persuaded them to get down from the wall, they got into an altercation. They climbed down the wall, manhandled the security staff and damaged some flower pots kept along the ramp. On receiving the information, Jubilee Hills Police reached the place and took the 6 persons into custody. They all claim to be part of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC).”
