Pushpa 2 Stampede Case: 8-Year-Old Child On Ventilator, Suffers From Severe Brain Damage

The boy, who got injured in the Pushpa 2 stampede incident, is currently on ventilator and has suffered from severe brain damage.

Pushpa 2 Stampede Case: Pushpa 2 has become a grand success at the box office but has also got involved in a big controversy. A woman died and her son got critically injured at the Sandhya theatre due to stampede after Allu Arjun attended the screening. According to the reports, the 8-year-old boy, Sri Tej, is under critical condition. He has reportedly suffered from severe brain damage and is on ventilator.

As per report by The Hindu, Hyderabad Police Commissioner C. V. Anand talked to the media after meeting the boy in the hospital. He said, “The survivor has suffered brain damage due to lack of oxygen supply during the stampede and the doctors have said that it will be a long haul for the brain to develop the capacity to analyse signals.”

Earlier, Allu Arjun expressed his worry on Sri Tej’s health and revealed that he has been advised to not visit. He wrote, “I remain deeply concerned about young Sri Tej, who is under constant medical care after the unfortunate incident. Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, I have been advised not to visit him and his family at this time. My prayers remain with them and I remain committed to taking responsibility for addressing the medical and family needs. I wish him a speedy recovery, and I look forward to meeting him and his family at the earliest.”

Allu Arjun was also arrested in connection to stampede case. He earlier announced the donation of Rs 25 lakhs to the victim’s family.
