Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, has shown remarkable resilience at the box office, entering its third week with impressive earnings. After a steady run, the film began to see a slight decline in business by the end of its second week. However, on Day 17 (Saturday), it experienced a significant surge, with a growth of approximately 74% compared to Friday.
On Friday, Pushpa 2 grossed Rs. 14 crore, pushing its total collection past the Rs. 1000 crore mark. The following day, it earned around Rs. 25 crore, bringing its cumulative total to Rs.1029.9 crore, according to Sacnilk. Of this total, the Hindi version contributed Rs. 652.9 crore, while the Telugu version accounted for Rs. 302.35 crore. Notably, the Hindi version’s earnings have surpassed those of Stree 2 and Jawan.

Pushpa 2 is on track to surpass the collection of Baahubali 2, which stands at Rs. 1040 crore. Industry experts predict that the film could achieve this milestone as early as Sunday night, with Day 18’s earnings expected to be even better than Saturday’s figures. The upcoming Christmas and New Year holiday period is anticipated to further boost the film’s box office performance.
As Pushpa 2 continues its successful run, it will face competition from Varun Dhawan’s Baby John, which is set to release in theaters on Christmas. The holiday season will be crucial for the film’s overall earnings as it aims to maintain its momentum.
