New Delhi: Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, is renewed for a second season. Director Joe Russo will direct the second season. On April 28, the series premiered on Amazon Prime Video. On the OTT platform, it recorded good viewership despite mixed reviews. Prime Video customers will now be able to watch all the episodes.
Priyanka Chopra is still in Citadel mode almost a month after the movie’s release. Her Instagram page recently featured BTS stills and videos from the sets.
Citadel to have a second season
For the uninitiated, Citadel is Prime Video’s second most-watched original series outside US and the fourth most-watched show worldwide. Citadel was renewed for a second season on May 25, according to Prime Video. All of the episodes will be directed by Joe Russo, but David Weil will serve as executive producer and showrunner once more.
