Indian actor Prabhas has launched a new initiative to help new writers pave their way into the entertainment industry. Understanding the problems that new comers face in getting the right attention, acknowledgement and appreciation from audience, Prahas has launched a website The Script Craft. Through this portal, writers can share their story ideas with a large section of audience and showcase their creativity and gain visibility.
It involves a simple process where one can submit a 250-word synopsis of their story ideas. Audiences will then read and rate these submissions, with the highest-rated stories rising to the top. The feedback system will focus on ratings rather than comments, creating a constructive environment that helps writers build confidence and receive positive support for their ideas.
To mark its launch, The Script Craft introduced a special contest titled ‘Imagine Your Favorite Hero with Superpowers.’ To participate in it, writers can submit a maximum 3,500-word story, reimagining a hero with superhuman abilities. In the end, one writer will be selected based on audience engagement to earn a unique opportunity to work as either an assistant writer or assistant director on a real project.
In addition, The Script Craft plans to expand with an audiobooks feature, allowing writers to turn their stories into immersive audio experiences. This development is set to help writers reach a broader audience, including listeners who prefer audio storytelling.
Prabhas shared the post on Instagram, captioning it, “Share your story, inspire the world on this platform, where writers bring their words to life and the audience votes to shape reality. Join the movement. Best wishes to the #TheScriptCraft team!
