Popular Malayalam Television Actor Vishnu Prasad Passes Away At 49

Vishnu Prasad had been getting treatment for liver problems for a while and needed a liver transplant.

Popular Malayalam TV actor Vishnu Prasad passed away early Friday morning (May 2,2025) at a private hospital in Kochi. He was 49 years old.

Vishnu Prasad had been getting treatment for liver problems for a while and needed a liver transplant. He passed away around 1:09 a.m., according to the Public Relations team at Aster Medcity Hospital.

His family and friends from the Association of Malayalam Television Artists were working on arranging the transplant.

About Vishnu Prasad

He became well-known in the film and television industry for playing villain roles.

In addition to acting in many Malayalam TV serials, Vishnu also appeared in movies like Kaasi, Kaiyethum Doorathu, Lion, Runway, Mampazhakaalam, Ben Johnson, and Lokanathan IAS.
