New Delhi: On January 29, popular Kannada actor Mandeep Roy passed away from a severe heart attack. He was 72 years old. According to his family members, he had a heart attack in December and was treated for it. The Hebbal Crematorium served as the actor’s final resting place. In almost 500 Kannada films, the actor had a long and successful acting career.
In Bengaluru, Mandeep Roy passed suddenly in the early hours of January 29 and many well-known personality have been paying homage to the legend.
The mortal remains of Mandeep were preserved for public veneration. At the Hebbal Crematorium, he was afterwards laid to rest.

Actor, director and producer Venkat Bharadwaj paid tribute to him and wrote, “Mandeep Roy | Originally Bengali, Settled and Acted in Kannada Film Industry, Closely Connected to #Kannada #People He is Unforgettable in #Pushpaka Vimana #RIP #MandeepRoy #KFI #Kannada (sic).”

About Mandeep Roy
With Minchina Oota, the actor made his Sandalwood debut in 1982. He was frequently cast in comedic parts and was renowned for having perfect comic timing. Yelu Suthika Kote, Geetha, Kushi, Kurigaalu Saar Kurugaalu, Benkiya Balle, Akashmika, and Accident are a few of the most well-known movies.
