Ponniyin Selvan 2 box office collection Day 4: Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, a recent movie by maverick director Mani Ratnam, is doing exceptionally well at the box office. In just four days, the worldwide gross for the movie surpassed Rs 200 crore.
At this rate, the movie is probably going to break even more box office records. It should be recalled that the first instalment earned more than Rs 500 crore globally. Fans will have to wait and see if PS 2 surpasses the Rs 500 crore box office threshold globally.

On April 28, the film was shown on screens all over the world. The movie opened on several thousand screens in five languages amid high anticipation.

About the Film
Ponniyin Selvan is Aishwarya and Vikram’s second collaboration, following their acclaimed 2010 film Raavan. Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Ashwin Kakumanu, Mohan Raman, Sarathkumar and Parthiban are part of the supporting cast.
