Ponniyin Selvan 2 box office collection Day 13: Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 is facing a decline in theatres in its second week. In 13 days, this movie has earned more than 160 crores at Indian cinemas and is proving to be a success at the box office.
Let’s see if the film witness more decline in numbers in the second weekend. Recently, the film grossed Rs 300 crore worldwide and made history. It was very profitable for the makers to do both parts of the film.
Box Office Collection
In the second week, however, the film slowed down compared to Week 1. It is estimated that the film earned Rs 2.50 crore in India on Wednesday, May 10. This takes the total collection to Rs 160.70 crore nett in India. According to the trade reports, there will be an increase in the collection over the weekend.

About the film
Ponniyin Selvan is Aishwarya and Vikram’s second collaboration, following their acclaimed 2010 film Raavan. Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Ashwin Kakumanu, Mohan Raman, Sarathkumar and Parthiban are part of the supporting cast.
Composer AR Rahman, editor Sreekar Prasad and cinematographer Ravi Varman are part of the technical staff.
