New Delhi: Ranveer Singh sent internet into frenzy after he posed nude for the Paper magazine. The photoshoot might have courted controversy, but People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) wants him to ‘ditch pants’ for one more time.

Now, Peta India has written a letter to the actor asking him if he would pose naked for their campaign. According to a report, the Animal Rights Organisation wants Ranveer to promote vegan food through their campaign.

“Greetings from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India, the country’s best-known animal rights group, with more than 2 million members and supporters. We saw your head-turning Paper Magazine photo shoot – and we hope you’ll ditch the pants for us, too,” an extract from their letter read.

In the letter, Sachin Bangera, Vice President, PETA India, also counted contribution of other celebrities who have assisted PETA India and other PETA entities in promoting plan-based eating. Anushka Sharma, Kartik Aaryan, Joaquin Phoenix, and Natalie Portman have made significant contribution in promoting vegan diets, Bangera said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh will next feature in Rohit Shetty’s film, “Cirkus”. The film stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role along with Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma. He will also be seen in Karan Johar’s directorial comeback Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
