Munawar Faruqui and Sonali Bendre are set to host a new reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’, in which some popular couples from the industry will be seen as contestants. The premiere date of the show has officially been announced, and the makers have also revealed the names of the contestants.
‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ will premiere on Colors TV Channel and JioHotstar from August 2, 2025, at 9:30 PM. Announcing the premiere date, the makers wrote in the caption, “Jashn-baazi ki baat hai! Kyunki… Pati Patni aur Panga aa raha hai, leke masti ka naya paigaam. Har weekend hoga entertainment ke naam, 2nd August se, raat 9:30 baje, sirf #Colors aur @jiohostar par.”
Contestants
Hina Khan-Rocky Jaiswal, Sudesh Lehri-Mamta Lehri, Swara Bhasker-Fahad Ahmad, Debina Bonnerjee-Gurmeet Choudhary, Geetika Phogat-Pawan Kumar, and Avika Gor-Milind Chandwani will participate in ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’.
While speaking to IANS, Sonali revealed why she agreed to host ‘Patni Patni Aur Panga’. She said, “I said yes to Pati Patni Aur Panga because it felt like a page out of my own marriage, just with more cameras! This show is a celebration of those everyday quirks that make a relationship real—the shared glances, the fight over the remote, the small wins that somehow mean everything.”
Munawar Faruqi On The Show
Munawar Faruqui said, “On Pati Patni Aur Panga, I’ll be bringing out the everyday moments and fun disagreements that couples go through—whether it’s about wet towels, kitchen experiments, or forgotten anniversaries.”
In the show, the couples will take part in fun games and tasks to test their compatibility. It will replace ‘Laughter Chefs Season 2’ on Colors TV. Debina Banerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary will also appear on the show.
