Pathaan Day: Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s smash hit, is unstoppable. The film, which opened in theatres on January 25, has entered the Rs 500 crore club, and there are celebrations abounding.
As good news for fans, prominent theatre chains have opted to celebrate Pathaan Day in honour of the picture, which will have a successful fourth Friday. What awaits fans tomorrow?

Pathaan, the all-time blockbuster produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand, is on a historic run at the box office, grossing over 963 crore globally. To commemorate Pathaan’s status as the highest-grossing Hindi film in history, prominent theatre chains in India – PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, Miraj, Movietime, MuktaA2 & other participating cinemas – have joined forces to declare this Friday Pathaan Day! These theatres have determined that each Pathaan ticket will cost Rs.110 across all of their locations.

Shah Rukh Khan reacted to the news on Twitter while reacting to Rohan Malhotra, Yash Raj Films’ Vice President. SRK wrote, “Oh oh ab toh phir dekhni padhegi. What a good thing to do. Thank u yrf…Can u arrange some free popcorn also? No?? (sic).”

About the film
The film brings together Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham for the first time. Siddharth Anand directs the film, which is produced by Yash Raj Films. It’s the fourth entry in the YRF Spy Universe.
The film is set to be released on January 25, 2023, during the Republic Day weekend, with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan plays the lead, a RAW field agent. Vishal-Shekhar composed the music for the movie, and Sanchit and Ankit Balhara composed the score.
