This Diwali is extra special for Parineeti Chopra and her husband Raghav Chadha, as the couple eagerly await the arrival of their first child. Parineeti has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi, surrounded by family and loved ones during this joyous occasion.
A source told Hindustan Times, “Yes, Parineeti Chopra has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi. Raghav is with his wife during this special time. They are expecting the arrival of the baby anytime now.” Both Parineeti’s and Raghav’s families are reportedly by her side, sharing in the excitement and festive celebrations.
Parineeti and Raghav had announced their pregnancy in August 2025 with a sweet Instagram post, saying, “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure,” alongside a picture of a cake with 1 + 1 = 3 and baby footprints.
The couple got engaged in May 2023 at Kapurthala House, New Delhi, and tied the knot in September 2023 at The Leela Palace, Udaipur. Raghav had hinted at their pregnancy during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, teasing, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge! (We’ll give you good news soon!)”
This Diwali, the festive lights shine a little brighter for the couple as they prepare to welcome the newest member of their family.
