Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s much-awaited romance drama Param Sundari has finally hit the theatres, marking their first on-screen pairing. The movie promises to bring the cultures of North and South Indian together and has already been receiving a good response due to its heartfelt story and beautiful songs.
With romance making a strong comeback in Hindi cinema, the film has witnessed steady growth over the weekend. However, the film’s momentum slowed down with a dip in numbers as the weekdays began.
Param Sundari Box Office Collection Day 6:
Param Sundari has enjoyed a steady run at the box office over its opening weekend. The film opened with Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1 (Friday) and witnessed good growth on Day 2 (Saturday), collecting Rs 9.25 crore, a jump of 27.59%. The momentum continued on Day 3 (Sunday) with earnings of Rs 10.25 crore, up by 10.81% from the previous day. However, as expected, the weekday trend saw a sharp decline, with Monday collections dropping to Rs 3.25 crore, a fall of 68.29%. On Tuesday, the film showed some recovery at Rs 4.25 crore, up by 30.77%.
However, on Day 6 (Wednesday) brought in around Rs 2.85 crore (early estimates). With this, the film’s total box office collection stands at Rs 37.10 crore in six days.
