Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s much awaited romantic comedy Param Sundari is set to hit theatres on August 29, 2025, and the early numbers are already encouraging. According to Pinkvilla, by 11 PM on August 27, the film had sold over 12,000 tickets across PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis for its opening day. Trade experts say the rom-com, could close its advance bookings at around 40,000 admissions before release.
The movie has built strong buzz because of its Pardesiya, sung by Sonu Nigam, which has been dominating playlists nationwide. Trailers and teasers have also received a positive response, though the lead pair has kept promotions relatively low key compared to usual Bollywood blockbusters.
Box Office Outlook
Industry estimates suggest Param Sundari will open in the range of Rs 7-8 crore net on Day 1, with strong potential to grow over the weekend. Since no big movies are releasing this weekend, Maddock Films has a good chance to attract audiences. The studio, which has earlier given surprise hits like Stree 2 and Chhaava, might score another success if viewers continue to give positive feedback.

About Param Sundari
