Prime Video has given fans their first glimpse of the much awaited “Panchayat” Season 4 through a teaser released at Mumbai’s inaugural World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES). The popular rural comedy drama is set to return in July with its beloved cast.
The teaser was unveiled during a panel discussion titled “Making of Panchayat: Grassroot Storytelling” which featured cast members Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Sunita Rajwar and creator-director Deepak Kumar Mishra and writer Chandan Kumar.
The session was moderated by Manish Menghani, director and head of content licensing at Prime Video India, expressed excitement about the event “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to unveil the first-look teaser of the upcoming season and host an engaging panel discussion with the Panchayat team at WAVES—an event that celebrates bold visions and authentic voices in Indian entertainment,” says Menghani.

About Season 3
The third season ended on a chaotic note as Pradhan gets shot and ends up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Abhishek and his friends get into a fight with MLA and his goons. Things take a turn when all of them are arrested. The fate of Abhishek is left on a cliffhanger and will be showcased in the next season.
Set in the fictional village of Phulera, Panchayat is based on an engineering graduate Abhishek Tripathi unfamiliar with the village culture is working in a rural area after being appointed as Gram Panchayat secretary. The series portrays rural life, politics, and community relationships with three successful seasons.
