‘Mirzapur’ is one of the most popular web series in India and has gained cult classic status ever since its release. After the release of its third season, the makers of ‘Mirzapur’ announced its film. Some of the main characters will reprise their roles, and it has now been rumoured that Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan will join the project.
According to a report by HTCity, the characters of Jitendra and Ravi Kishan have been kept under wraps. A source said, “Jitendra and Ravi Kishan have joined the cast of the film. The mahurat puja took place on Thursday, and both were present at the celebrations. Their characters are being kept as a big surprise for the fans.”
“The look tests and reading sessions of the cast have already started and will continue for the next few days. Jitendra and Ravi have also joined the pre-production work. The film will go on floors next month,” the source added.
The makers are yet to officially announce the casting of Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan. The actors haven’t commented on the same.
Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi, who play Guddu Pandit and Kaleen Bhaiya in the series, will also be seen in the movie. Abhishek Banerjee, who was seen as Subodh aka Compounder in the first season, will also return to the franchise. Beloved character Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyenndu, will also return after he was killed in the second season.
