When fans of these Pakistani celebrities tried to open their Instagram profiles, they saw the same message: "Account not available in India. This is because we followed a legal request to block this content."

India has also blocked 16 YouTube channels from Pakistan. According to government sources, these channels were banned for sharing content that could create tension between communities and for spreading false stories about India, its Army, and security forces. One of the blocked channels was run by former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, which had over 3.5 million subscribers.
