The Instagram accounts of several popular Pakistani actors are no longer visible in India. Stars like Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan have had their profiles blocked for users in the country. Hania Aamir’s account was one of the first to be affected.

This is happening as tensions between India and Pakistan grow after the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

Other Pakistani stars who are also not visible on Instagram in India include Ali Zafar, Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas, and Sajal Aly.

When fans of these Pakistani celebrities tried to open their Instagram profiles, they saw the same message: “Account not available in India. This is because we followed a legal request to block this content.”

India has also blocked 16 Pakistani YouTube Channels

India has also blocked 16 YouTube channels from Pakistan. According to government sources, these channels were banned for sharing content that could create tension between communities and for spreading false stories about India, its Army, and security forces. One of the blocked channels was run by former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, which had over 3.5 million subscribers.
