This week’s slate of new movies and shows will include thriller, documentary and fantasy genres.

Paatal Lok Season 2
‘Paatal Lok Season 2’ will focus on Hathi Ram Chaudhary’s new mission to Nagaland. Jaideep Ahlawat will return as Hathiram Chaudhary with Gul Panag and Ishwak Singh also reprising their roles from the previous season. Meanwhile, Tillotama Shome, Nagesh Kukunoor, Jahnu Barua, Anurag Arora, Prashant Tamang, Merenla Imsong, and LC Sekhose are the new additions to the star cast. The series will release on Prime Video on January 17, 2025.

The Roshans
‘The Roshans’ will showcase the journey of the Roshan family, who are a prominent part of the Indian music and film industry. Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan will feature in the project along with Rakesh and Rajesh Roshan, who are renowned filmmaker and music director respectively. Asha Bhosle, Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Javed Akhtar and many other celebrities will feature in the project. The documentary will release on January 17, 2025.
Power Of Paanch
‘Power Of Paanch’is a fantasy series, starring Riva Arora, Aditya Raj Arora, Urvashi Dholakia and Barkha Bisht. The show is set in Panchgiri and revolves around Bela, who finds four teenagers with superpowers. It will release on Disney+ Hotstar on January 17.

Griha Laxmi
‘Griha Laxmi’ revolves around a simple homemaker and her journey to becoming the queen of a dangerous empire. Starring Hina Khan in the lead role, the show will release on EPIC ON on January 16.

‘Chidiya Udd’ is a thriller show, starring Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Bhoomika Meena, Madhur Mittal, Mita Vashisht, Mayur More, Flora Saini, Abha Parmar and Upen Chauhan. Directed by Ravi Jadhav, the show will release on Amazon MX Player on January 15.
