Oscars 2023: The Oscars 2023 went to MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose for their work on RRR's Naatu Naatu. The song took home the award for Best Original Song. After he accepted the honour, the composer started singing. He said, "Thank you Academy. I grew up listening to carpenters and now here I am with the Oscars."
He then sang a song with the lyrics, "There was only one wish on my mind. So was Rajamouli and my family. RRR has to win. Pride of every Indian and must put me on top of the world." He concluded his speech by saying, "Thank you Kartikeya for making this possible."
