Hamdan Ballal, who is one of the co-directors of No Other Land, the famous documentary on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, has reportedly gone missing following a violent attack. The incident was reportedly carried out by 10-20 masked Jewish settlers has sparked global outrage. Ballal’s colleague and fellow filmmaker, Yuval Abraham took to twitter and revealed that Ballal had been attack and subsequently disappeared.

Yuval wrote on Twitter, “A group of settlers just lynched Hamdan Ballal, co-director of our film No Other Land. They beat him and he has injuries in his head and stomach, bleeding. Soldiers invaded the ambulance he called, and took him. No sign of him since.”

The Attack In Masafer Yatta
According to media reports, the attack took place in Masafer Yatta, a region in the occupied West Bank known for its history of tensions between Israeli settlers and Palestinian residents. Ballal was reportedly in the village of Susiya when the incident occurred. As per the eyewitnesses, the settlers which were armed and masked violently attacked Ballal and several others. After which Israeli forces allegedly detained him and removed him from the scene.
