New Delhi: J-hope, a member of BTS, will release a single named “on the street” on March 3. The BTS artist will release the song before his required military enrollment. BigHit Music stated on February 26 that J-hope has applied for the termination of his military delay and would join soon. Details about his enlisting have not been released, but as a gift to fans, J-hope will release a lo-fi hip hip music that represents who he is as an artist.
A press release by BigHit Music describes ‘on the street’ as, “A lo-fi hip-hop track with an easy-listening melody & warm-hearted lyrics. He participated in the songwriting, which delivers a hopeful message & warmth that reminds listeners of his positive and bright energy. The key motif of the track comes from the word ‘street’ which can be interpreted as a place where many people’s everyday lives pass by—a metaphor for life.”

The statement further adds, “It comes from ‘street dance,’ the genre that represents j-hope’s roots as an artist, and it also symbolizes the path that he will continue to take with his fans around the world.”
J-hope broke the mould with his first solo album, Jack in the Box, which was published in 2022. He also appeared in a video with Crush and had his documentary released on Disney + Hotstar.
J-hope did Weverse Live as soon as BigHit announced the enlistment procedure, and his interaction with Jin provided much-needed relief to supporters.
