Bigg Boss 18: It’s been two weeks since Bigg Boss 18 aired on TV, and fans have already picked their favorites from the 18 contestants. Among them, actor Karan Veer Mehra definitely seems to be one of the top participants. As fans discuss him on social media, many have shared old pictures of him with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, highlighting their close connection.
Karan Veer first met Sushant on the sets of their TV show Pavitra Rishta, in which Sushant played the lead character of Manav, while Karan had a supporting role as Naren Karmarkar. Their relationship soon moved beyond the sets and they developed a close bond over the years. Karan and Sushant would often hang out, have fun, and discuss life. Pictures of their happy times are evidence of their friendship, which was the talk of the town.

After Sushant’s tragic death in 2020, Karan Veer opened about their friendship and shared how the Kai Po Che! actor was the light of his life. “He always treated me like a younger brother. He was the one guiding me at every step when I was at crossroads in my career and relationships. Each evening spent with him was special. He would discuss and tell me so many things on topics ranging from space to music, sports, fitness, film,” Karan told Etimes.
After Sushant passed away, Karan took to his Instagram handle and posted several pictures. But what caught everyone’s attention was his pain after losing a friend. In the caption, Karan wrote about his guilt of not helping Sushant in time of need. The caption read, “What really really hurts the most is when he needed someone, i couldn’t be there, for which i will never be able to forgive myself . I always Thot he is someone who takes life very seriously, & when the time came he took it so casually. Bhai somewhere in your stupid Quantum physics , photons, cosmos , blackhole & the parallel world we shall meet soon.”
