Tamannaah Bhatia is back in theatres with a supernatural thriller film ‘Odela 2’, is also the sequel to the 2022 film ‘Odela Railway Station’. Despite creating hype and the success of its prequel, the movie received mixed response and has been struggling at the box office. Check the two-days box office collection of Oldela 2.
Odela 2 Box Office Collection Day 2:
According to the website Sacnilk, Odela 2 collected Rs 0.85 crore on day one and earned Rs 0.59 crore on day two. The movie has collected Rs 1.44 crore in total.
Odela 2 drew comparison to hit Telugu movie Arundhati. While speaking to Cinema Express, director Sampath Nandi said, “While it may seem to be that way in the trailer, Odela 2 bears no resemblance to Arundhati. This is a battle between a ghost and a Panchakshari mantra. It’s more spiritual in theme.”

Talking about the sequel, he added, “The first part was a huge success. They even bought the Tamil rights and there was a proposal to remake it in Hindi. That’s when director Ashok asked me to write a sequel for the film.”

He praised Tamannaah’s dedication and added, “Tamannaah gaaru walked barefoot in the sun for this film and became a vegetarian. I think she was able to pull off this role effortlessly because she was on this transformative journey.”
Odela 2 also stars Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha in lead roles with Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal and Pooja Reddy.
