After the game-changing success of Saiyaara, its producers Yash Raj Films have resolved not to expose the actors excessively in pre-release publicity events. The two superstars Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr of Yash Raj Films’ War 2 which opens on 14 August won’t be out on public platforms for promotional events.
Hence NTR Jr has taken his visibility before and during the release of War 2 in his own hands. A source close to the development informs, “Tarak has taken charge of his own media coverage, as he felt that the producers of War 2 have their own marketing strategy. His team is exploring various avenues.”
This is not the first time NTR Jr has done his own promotion separate from the parent project. During and after the release of Rajamouli’s RRR, NTR paid in multi-crores to be featured in the international media. And no harm in that.
