‘Nothing To Be Fixed’: Uorfi Javed Says There’s No Room For Reconciliation With Apoorva Mukhija After The Feud On The Traitors

Uorfi Javed has addressed her fallout with Apoorva Mukhija during The Traitors, clarifying that they were never close and there’s no scope for reconciliation.

Uorfi Javed has finally broken her silence on the much discussed clash with Apoorva Mukhija during the reality show The Traitors. What started as a “behen code” alliance quickly unraveled into a bitter public fallout.

In a candid conversation with News18 Showsha, Uorfi responded to Apoorva’s allegations including the claim that Uorfi made her feel like an imposter and would’ve behaved differently had she been someone of higher status, like Maheep Kapoor. Uorfi fired back, saying, “If Maheep would’ve misbehaved with me or had a showdown with me, I would’ve told her too ki aukaat mein raho apni. I wouldn’t have kept quiet. I’m very impulsive. Mere muh se kuch bhi nikal jaata hai gusse mein. Aisa nahi hai ki maine uska level dekh ke yeh sab kuch bola.”

While she maintains that she holds no animosity toward Apoorva, Uorfi made it clear there’s no scope for reconciliation. She elaborated, “I don’t think I’ll ever pick up the phone on her. I know that she also will never call me. There are so many people in the world. Woh mujhe hi kyun call karegi? There’s nothing to be fixed there. Only those relationships can be fixed where there’s history. It’s not like there was a background of friendship between me and her.”

Recalling their earlier interaction, Uorfi said the two had met during the premiere of her show Follow Kar Lo Yaar and exchanged friendly conversations. However, during The Traitors, tensions escalated after a confrontation where Uorfi admits she may have “crossed the line” while reacting to what she claims was Apoorva’s initial misbehavior. “She was never my friend. I knew her as an acquaintance. We had met before The Traitors. She had come for the premiere of my show, Follow Kar Lo Yaar. We did speak a few times. I always thought that she was a chilled-out person. But show mein aake humaari baat nahi bani. Apoorva and I had a fight and it was she who had started misbehaving with me. In reaction, I ended up telling her a lot of things, which may have crossed the line.”

Concluding her thoughts, Uorfi emphasized she is choosing to move on, saying, “Sometimes two people don’t get along and that’s okay. You don’t have to be bitter about it. Aisa nahi hai ki meri koi bahot badi dushmani hai uske saath. She’s too young and main usse bahot badi hoon. Whatever happened in the reality show happened. It’s okay. There’s no friendship there but there’s no enmity from my end either. All love from me to her.”

Urfi and Nikita Luther won the show The Traitors when they successfully outplayed the traitors and split the prize money of Rs 70 lakhs. The top five contestants who made it to the grand finale were Urfi, Nikita, Sudhanshu, Purav, and Harsh.
